Sean Francis
Senior Case Assessor - studying towards Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, The Pensions Ombudsman
I began my journey in the food industry, where I learned the art of balancing creativity with operational efficiency. Running a business taught me the intricacies of customer experience, supply chains, and team communication. But most importantly, it sharpened my strategic thinking. Budgeting, forecasting demand, and navigating uncertainty became daily disciplines. This practical foundation sparked a deeper curiosity: finance. I pursued independent study across investment strategy, behavioural economics, and financial modelling. What began as operational problem-solving evolved into a broader inquiry: how money moves people, and how people move markets. Today, I combine street-level insight with analytical rigour. Whether I’m writing about economic trends or optimising business systems, my aim is to bridge theory and practice with a voice that’s reflective and results-driven. To truly understand the economy, you have to understand the psychology of its actors.
