I am Founding Director of Paul Harper Search, one of the UK’s longest established Financial Services Executive Search specialists. For 25 years I have been helping Financial Services businesses grow through hiring outstanding senior Directors and Managers and acquiring clients and businesses. I also helps IFA Business Owners seeking to manage their exit through sale.

I am a Chartered Insurer and qualified as a Financial Planner. Recently I became a bestselling author of MY book “Reinventing the Financial Advice Profession - From Commission Driven Salespeople To Multi-Million Pound Businesses”. This book recently topped the Amazon Personal Finance and Retirement Finance Best seller lists.

I spent over 15 years in the corporate world, working in Senior Sales, Distribution and Management roles for NatWest, Legal & General and Eagle Star (now Zurich). I then moved into the Executive Search industry in 1998. I founded Paul Harper Search in 1999 and more recently added Paul Harper M&A and Paul Harper Consulting to my stable of businesses.

Paul Harper Search is a member of the REC, and I am a previous Chair of the Association of Executive Recruiters (AER). I am a frequent and active participator in industry debates on subjects such as salaries, wider remuneration and training . I strongly believes that Financial Advice is a profession to be proud of.
