Hello everyone.
I've been working in financial services for over 20 years, starting my career in operational/administrative roles before getting the training 'bug'. I have been a financial services skills, technical and qualifications trainer since 2008, working for a number of large financial planning businesses to enable both inexperienced and experienced individuals to flourish.
I am privileged in my current role as Technical and Propositions Manager at Redmill Advance to impart my experience on the design, delivery and governance of blended learning to support our financial adviser academy clients through level 4 and level 6 qualifications with the CII and CISI. I'm driven by the rewards of seeing students who I have assisted achieve qualification success, and seeing these achievements propel them to give the best service to their own clients.
I also work closely with the CII, CISI and LIBF. For the CII and CISI, I have experience of textbook authorship/review and the development of syllabus and exam materials. For the LIBF, I have also worked on the moderation of several of their level 6 qualification units.
Outside of the day job, i enjoy spending quality time with the family, most specifically my partner and two step-daughters. I also enjoy regular trips to Italy (my favourite country in the world) and the long-term suffering that goes with supporting a Scottish football team.
